ABOUT ELLA BRIC

Ella Bric is a Venezuelan-born, New York–based multidisciplinary artist working across music, performance, and audiovisual storytelling. A two-time Latin Grammy–winning producer, songwriter, and trumpeter, she made history as the first woman to receive the Latin Grammy Award for Producer of the Year.

Her work lives at the intersection of sound, narrative, and live performance, drawing from Latin American traditions while engaging contemporary production and visual language. Through immersive, interdisciplinary projects, she explores identity, migration, and emotional memory, creating what she describes as “living self-portraits.”

Bric’s work has been recognized by figures such as Quincy Jones and Pharrell Williams, and she has performed alongside artists like Alejandro Sanz, Wynton Marsalis, Arturo Sandoval. Alongside her artistic career, she has been an active voice in support of women in her native Venezuela.
